Introduction

The family, after several relocations in the USSR, came to the U.S. and changed their family name to Zwieback. Information was provided by David and Ilya Zwieback.

1. Israel Yaakov¹ Cvejbak was born in 1893 in or near Lublin, Poland. He married Rosa Yakolevna Fingerhut in Odessa, Ukraine.

In 1917, they lived in Odessa, Ukraine.

Children of Israel Yaakov¹ Cvejbak and Rosa Yakolevna Fingerhut were as follows:

• ii. Abram; d. 1941.

• iii. Lucy is still living.

2. Yakov² Tsveybak (Israel¹Cvejbak) is still living.

Children of Yakov² Tsveybak and Alexandra Gurevitz are as follows:

• 3. i. Ilya³ is still living.

• ii. Olga is still living.

3. Ilya³ Tsveybak (Yakov², Israel¹Cvejbak) is still living.

Children of Ilya³ Tsveybak are:

• i. David⁴ is still living.
