Introduction
Goworowo is located in the province of Ostroleckie, at 21º36 52º56, 17 km from the town of Rozan; 22 km from the town of Ostroleka; and 126 km NNE of Warsaw. The earliest known Jewish community dates from the 18th century. In 1921, the Jewish population was 1,085. The present town population is between 1,000-5,000 people, with no Jews.
